Capital Improvements

The staff of the Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority (PCWASA) has developed a multi-year capital improvement program whose financing relies primarily on proceeds from bond issues -- the Series 2002 Bond Issue and the 2005 Refunding Revenue Bond Issue most recently.  The Capital Improvements Program (CIP) provides the roadmap for the PCWASA staff to plan, on a long-term basis, for future system capital needs, and the CIP is updated annually.

Typical expenditures of PCWASA capital improvements are categorized as corrective measures, general system repairs, system upgrades such as advancements to pump stations and sewer lines, and specific enhancements for the Rockaway and Larry B. Turner/Line Creek Water Reclamation (Wastewater Treatment) Facilities.

During this past fiscal year, PCWASA appropriated more than $660,000 for capital improvements.  When milestones are achieved with capital projects, the Authority will include them in project updates on this page of the Web site.
