Fayette County Teacher Plant Tour

Prior to the start of the 2017-18 school year, PCWASA hosted teachers from Fayette County Public Schools for a tour of the Rockaway Plant. In doing so, the local educators saw examples of how to use PCWASA facilities for the teaching of STEAM curricula.

The March 2014 board meeting featured a presentation by the Georgia F.O.G. Alliance, who honored PCWASA with the FOG Program of the Year Award, and the results from the Authority’s fifth consecutive clean audit opinion.

January Board Meeting

One of the highlights during the January, 2013 PCWASA Board Meeting was the presentation of the Award of Excellence to the Authority by the Georgia F.O.G. Alliance. The Award of Excellence was the result of the PCWASA FOG (fats, oils and grease) program scoring in the 95th precentile on its audit by industry judges from the Georgia F.O.G. Alliance.

The Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the “Emergency Services Contract”. This includes the following, with all related accessories as shown on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications: The Work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to provide EMERGENCY repair and/or construction services for the Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority during Fiscal Year 2021.
